Sold GIS and bought Tencent

Sold GIS at a loss of $1 and bought 1 share of Tencent at $69.92. Tencent a solid China tech stock trading at a 24-25 PE which is a fair price to me.

MIT with excess

I applied MIT PO with excess. I am allocated with 20 shares and applied for 200. I managed to get all of it. My average cost of MIT now is 2.593 and I own 600 shares now.

Bought Ascendas

Just bought my first tranche of Ascendas reit. 500 shares at 2.9. Based on the dpu of 14.74 cents it will be yielding a 5.08 percent for me which is quite comfortable for me. Will be monitoring the retails reits as they will be affected by the coming heightened phase 2.

Bought my first US stock

Got a $60 SGD voucher on tiger brokers. Decided to spend it on buying a us stocks that is near the price of the voucher.  Decide to buy GIS General Mils a old consumer company that is trading at a PE of only 15. This should be counter than can counter inflation. It is only 80 plus sgd which is negligible to my portfolio but it can act as my first foot hold into us stocks.

Sold KIT

Basically I just sold KIT, no gain/lost. The purpose is to increase my cash on hand and add more MIT if the price continues to drop. KIT no doubt is a defensive counter with a certain amount of growth but to me I view MIT as a more stable and growth reit with room of growing dpu.

Bought Mapletree Ind

Solid blue chip reit in industrial spaces both in US and SG, also has data centres which is a growing business as the data usage. At $2.57 with last year dividend of $0.122 it has a dividend of 4.74%. I only bought 400 shares if price is still attractive and I have more cash on hand will be adding more.

Bought KIT

Image
Bought 2000 shares of KIT at 0.54. With a 0.0372 dividend, the dividend yield is 6.88%. Results not affected by covid, growth in cash flow compare to  previous years.  Still declare only 0.0372 for dividend. Most likely saving cash for future acquisition.  In progress of acquisition of the Philippine oil storage, expecting to see increase in income next quarter. Management seems to be aggressive in M&A to acquire for assets for KIT. Looking forward to collect 6.8% while waiting for more acquisition
