Bought Genting Sing

26/8/2019 Last week China and US announced new trade tariffs. The market drop around 1.5 percent today morning. Bought 1400 units of Genting Sing at $0.875 for total $1225. Genting Sing share price drops quite a lot from around $1 at start of 2019 to the $0.88 range today. At $0.875, it has a dividend yield of 4%. I will be holding this stock for long term as I see long term growth in this stock due to the expansion of casino, uss, possible japan gambling license. It is holding a significant amount of cash most likely using it for expansion. I do not expect a rise of dividends for this few years as the company needs the cash to fund the expansion. However, in long term, dividends should grow and share price should rise due to the expansion.

Prime US reit ipo

Most probably I will subscribe in the future. My current portfolio Prime us reit 1000 units cost $0.88 up 2.27% Koufu 1600 units cost $0.681 up 9.24% I am more of a dividend growth investor so I will hold these stocks for a Long period.

Sold my position in ABF

9/7/2019  Sold 1048 units of abf at $1.158. Take back $1213.58, taking in the dividends I got around $39 in profits which is around 3.3% from 2018-May to 2019-Jul. I also stop the rsp for ABF to take in more cash in order to buy into other stocks that I am interested but I will still continue the rsp for ABF. On my watch list now have  Koufu Sheng Siong Nam Lee Sats  Fraser property BreadTalk  CapitaLand Limited Dairy farm  Haw Par  F&N Sbs transit Sgx  Due to my limited capital I can only buy in 1 stock at a time. Currently, most of the talks are quite expensive except BreadTalk and dairy farm that are down quite a lot. However, BreadTalk valuation is still quite expensive compare to her peers. I will be taking a closer look at BreadTalk if it goes cheaper in the future I might buy into it.

Sharing of my portfolio

I am a new and young investor. Currently I am still in poly, just here to share about my portfolio. Please feel free to advise me as necessary. Dca into Nikko AM sti etf and Abf each at $100 per month. 1600 shares of Koufu bought at $0.675. In terms of dividends received in 2019 : $13.75 from abf $3.4916 from g3b (I just started dca for about 2 months) I am personally more of a dividends growth investor. Looking to increase my investment in Koufu and Sbs transit in the future. The recent purchase of Koufu almost used up half of my savings, I need around 6 months to a year to be able to save up to a lump sum of more than $1000. At the same time will be looking into some of stocks that are trading at a discount of the book value.
